I have been very busy in the last couple of weeks. I have so much editing to do that I will have to take a number of days off to just look at them all. While taking the pictures is great I definitely like seeing the finished product. Since my last post here are a few shots that I have done. These images were taken at Garry Blacks Studio. What a terrific bunch of ladies I got the chance to work with. As you can see by the images below that they are absolutely spectacular. All such great beauties with oodles of talent.
Surprisingly I have decided to pick up the blog again after some time. I will publish the shots that I have above and will try to get caught up over the next little while. I was extremely busy this past year and have a plethora of shots to publish. Most of them have been updated on my site and some have been published to Facebook and or Instagram. On the weekend I took part in my first real shoot of the year. Although I took some photos at the 2019 Motorcycle Supershow on the 5th of January. (You can see the previous entry on this.) This latest shoot involved working with a great bunch of models and other photographers. the primary theme of the shoot was to create portfolio shots for the models as well as increase the depth of my own portfolio. Out of the 5 models I shot with on Saturday I had only shot with one of them before so working with new talent is always exciting.
I recently visited the first Motorcycle show of the year to see if I would like to get anything new for my riding season. There were a number of motorcycles that were up for sale that I certainly would like to have taken home, however I would have had a tough time explaining to the “Boss” that I spent a couple of grand on a new toy. I had to satisfy myself with just being able to capture a number of images of the machines on the ground.
A Maple Leaf Motorcycle. Love the exhaust pipe.
Along with the motorcycles there was entertainment put on as well as a leather fashion show. I captured some of the shots from those events too.
The second of my shoots for the festive season involved four other ladies. I have had the pleasure to shoot with most of these ladies before and it certainly was a pleasure to renew the friendships that we have established over the past.
The first of the ladies is Emily. We have shot together a number of times and everytime I do she never ceases to amaze.
Karo was one of the new models that I shot with and as you can see she is a natural. I got many terrific shots of her and look forward to shooting with the again.
Kristina was another of the models that I have shot with before. She as you can see is obviously very photogenic. You cannot seam to take a bad shot of her.
Kim has shot with me a couple of times before as well. She is always a pleasure to shoot with. Totally in the spirit of the season she lights up the set better than any of the lights.
This was an awesome shoot with these ladies and throughout the coming year I hope to shoot with them all again.
Hailey wanted to do a shoot dressed like Sandra Dee from Grease. I don’t know about you but she really nailed the character. Her hair was done by the very talented Shania Lawless.
I had the opportunity to take part in a fitness shoot at a new gym. I got some great shots of the lovely ladies working out on the equipment, however I would be remiss if I did not thank our lovely models Kathleen, Celine, Stephanie and Anne as well as the gyms owner Zach and the organizer of the event, Geoff. What a great experience.
I and a couple of other photographers took part in a COSPLAY Boudoir shoot with some very talented young ladies with a very creative way to introduce Cartoon Bombshells. As you can see from the images below there were 5 different characters. She-Ra, Marge Simpson, Holly Wood, Betty Boop, and Jessica Rabbit.
Recently I participated in a Boudoir shoot. Not really all that different than any other boudoir shoot other than this was in support of Lung Cancer Research. The hostess of the day offered up her home to us to shoot in also provided the fantastic makeup for the models as well. The results were nothing less than incredible. But who am I to judge…you can do that yourself by viewing the images below.
All in all I was pleased with the results and our hostess, Michelle was very pleased with the amount raised in support of such a worthy cause. Our lovely models were Kristina, Andrea, Trish and Julie. All I can say is wow. These ladies looked awesome and it was very easy to get some great shots.
I participated in a Bodypainting shoot with the lovely Rebecca Ann. She was painted in the style of a Celtic Warrior by the incomparable Bill Milward. The results as you can see were spectacular. One of the neat things is that one of the rooms we shot in was painted blue lending itself to being able to use it for Chromakey(Green Screen) photography allowing me to edit some the pictures and put them in Celtic like scenes. The overall product turned out amazing.
I had the pleasure to shoot with a very nice lady both beautiful and extremely talented. Carmen came up with a concept to shoot with gems and and Red and Black tape in homage to Valentines Day. The result was nothing less than spectacular.
